Hi, I’m Halie!
I’m an outdoor enthusiast, dog lover, and casual content creator based in Missoula, Montana. In my free time, you’ll find me on the river or in the mountains with my two rescue mutts, Lennie and Teddy, and my partner, Cole. This is my platform for sharing our adventures. Thank you for being here!
Our favorite pastimes include fly fishing (from chasing alpine trout in the summer to swinging for winter steelhead), backpacking, rafting, packrafting, hiking, and camping. We recreate throughout Montana, the PNW, and beyond. We believe in responsible recreation, conservation, and advocating for the wild places we love.
I won’t pretend to be an expert in any of the aforementioned pursuits, I’m far from that, but I love to share as I learn. My goals are to promote outdoor ethics, encourage safety, offer practical tips, and inspire adventure, to help others feel confident getting outdoors.
